- Daily preparation of exam room, testing room equipment and supplies.
- Obtaining concise, complete medical history, to record this history accurately, legibly and easy to interpret format
- Accurately measure and record refractive power and corrective lenses
- To understand and recognize normal findings in order to appreciate abnormal findings
- To record findings accurately and proceed appropriately with the preliminary work up
- To safely and accurately measure and record the IOP of each eye, to recognize abnormal findings and proceed appropriately with exam
- To perform special tests as required and directed by the doctor. To understand the purpose and procedure for the test ordered. To explain the test to the patients and record results accurately
- To understand our ehr system
- To assist in other deparas the need arises and as directed by clinic manager
- To continually strive to expand and update knowledge and skills necessary to provide quality patient care
